Formulation Scientist (Respiratory)
The Life Sciences Recruitment Company is currently working with a pharmaceuticals company, based in the Thames Valley region, who are looking for a Formulation Scientist to join their respiratory medicines division. The role will be to work within the development team; developing a range of pharmaceutical products through inhaled delivery.
The Client is a pharmaceutical company with a research and development facility in the Thames Valley area. They have a strong team focused on the development of inhaled delivery pharmaceuticals and are looking at expanding their range of products within the global market. They are looking for a Formulation Scientist who can join them to develop further products within inhaled delivery.
As Formulation Scientist, you will working within the respiratory development team to produce a range of pharmaceutical products. The products will be inhaled dosage, with a particular focus on Dry Powder Inhalers. These products will be batch manufactured and so you will need to perform the analytical validation for the manufacturing process. You will need to be familiar with analytical science techniques including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
You will need to be an experienced scientist, particularly with a background in powdered formulation, ideally within respiratory pharmaceuticals. You will need to have a degree in Chemistry or similar scientific subject and have experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment.
